Don't think me n Kookie wanna go back, last time we went over to the side where she pooped and two security guys in a golf cart had to shin their lights so we could find it :(

I like to capture a lighting bug each summer. Haven't been able to catch one this summer but after taking pics at the fairground, loading the Jeep there was one on the winshield.
Riding along at 20 mph he hung on then I got the idea to get a pic of em ok Kookie's nose.. just as I was doing it, one big slurp and he vanished.. n Kookie didn't like the taste #risingpark

Slept about all day, must have been bit by a tsetse fly
My summer begins when I spot my first lighting but.. got up to take Kookie out and the yard was full of em.. too far to catch one yet but..
Things to do fight the weeds, open presents, admire the girls, gaze over our home turf from Mt P after dark... maybe find a group doing car washes.
I did take a few pics and plotted the sun for a shoot.
My time is spent... made it.

Capturing a sunrise
Look at the weather forecast for a morning with out lots of clouds.
Find the degrees the sun will come up at sunrise
Add 180 to that number
Go to the top of Mt P and look that direction
Any roof top or place on the ground you can see.. from that point you can see Mt P
More complicated than that but I glued this compass to a fitting that goes over the hot shoe.

To capture the clouds floating over Mt. P, we loaded up the Kookie mobile n set up on the far end of the fairground. Put on the time lapse gadget and took a pic every minute.
It was kind of overcast n didn't work great.
If I get froggy again, we need to come back with blue skies, big puffy clouds and take a pic every 30 secs, maybe use manual settings

Lost the lens hood on top last time. If someone finds it they wont know what it is for.

I planned capturing the clouds floating over Mt P for a long time but the conditions too much cloud.
Running out of spunk don't know if I will go back but if you live in Lancaster, I drove to the far side of the fairgrounds and set the camera to take a photo every minute and pasted them together in a time lapse.
The perfect condition Lots of blue sky peppered in big puffy white clouds.
I was standing to the far end of the fairgrounds close to the fence just using a normal lens

Overcast the whole sky so things did not come out as planned, but took a pic of the barrel riders from Mt. P.
.. picking out the two furthest away.. imagination a guy n his kid visiting thinking about becoming one of em.. making up stuff to fit pics :)

Didn't exercise today had to do a grocery swap so I put the stickers on my license plates, tried to fix a weed trimmer n thought I would practice with the time lapse.
Moved the Jeep into solid shade and shot through the weeds.
I put the timer on delay 15 secs, then take 7 pics with 5 sec delays, then worked on it in pshop a bit.
Gave myself a haircut a couple weeks ago :)
Kookie romping to go so I took her to the park, wished I took the camera.. but I did take a pic of a family with their camera.
Just wanted to make it till this year n have a few more clips I wanna create.
Saw a fb pal n her pup and a guy who has a pup friendly to Kookie..

Me n the pup waiting to catch n release our first lighting bug. But this year we won't let em gang up on us :)
